I live in North East Hertfordshire and have no Brexit parties locally to vote for just the usual Tory/Labour/Lib Dem and green parties. What is the plan to get more candidates across the country?

Also so to make a difference all anti EU parties need to unite or be in an alliance as to not split the vote. Is this being considered ?

I think we need to get candidates all over the country. Aiming candidates at certain areas never worked for UKIP. I think there are loads of Veterans that would want to stand & would do almost anything to change politics as they are.

Just my 2 pennies worth!

Yes we need everyone to step up as a candidate to prevent some areas being left with no anti EU representatives to vote for. You don’t need any skills or previous experience to stand even if it’s as an independent if your party don’t accept you.

I think that to even be in with a chance we will have to unite with other pro leave parties. Only once we are in can we change the first past the post system and get rid of the corruption that is so prolific in the other parties

Whilst I agree with the overall sentiment of all the Brexit parties joining together the biggest issue you have is that the end goals for all parties are very different. Whilst the idea for the sake of votes is good we as a party do not want or need to be seen as being right wing or in collaboration with right wing parties/persons or other entities.

In ref to candidates standing in area as it has been said before so I will not go into great length about it, but if there is no DVP candidates why not stand yourself. I know its not for everyone and it amy worry you or you feel that you will not know what to do! What I have seen the party leadership are there and will be there to help you through everything. So believe in yourself and take that step and be part of the change!

I here what a few have said about the voting system that is used in England, the first past the post! Here in Northern Ireland we ude what is called the Single Transferable Voting (STV) system. Its a proportional representation system and gives smaller parties and indenpendents a better chance to get elected. I only wish the whole of the UK used this system as I believe our party would pick up seats in a number of councils throughout the nation and set us on our way!

To all standing for our party good luck from all in Northern Ireland.

the only one is is my brother Colin Horscroft - he is a candidate but UKIP ONLY, because here in the South, DVP DON'T seem to be interested - only "up North" - consequently, i've also had to put my name also for UKIP - here in the Central Essex Party we aren't concerned with the "shananigans" at the "Top" with T Robinson et al, as is Colin : concentrating MORE on local politics and getting rid of Tory and Labour "Cabinets" than MEP's and MP's - those Tories and Labourities can wait in trepidation - their turn WILL come!!!

The answer is simple.. At present the DVP and most other fledgling parties have not got the membership, money or organisation to run in national elections such as the EU elections in May. There are two main parties that do have the cash and organisations behind them . Those are UKIP and The Brexit Party. To vote for any other individual or party representative will just split the votes even more and the result will be the Tories and or Labour winning the seats. So I'd strongly advise that we all put aside our personal opinions on UKIP and BP and get the job done by preventing the mainstream parties gaining any seats. If your area has both UKIP & Brexit Party candidates standing, I'd further advise you vote for the Brexit Party candidate as there is too much controversy still surrounding UKIP at present.  This is not our time as DVP members..Please consider my points for the good of our country and Brexit.

That is a shame. Never mind for now but after all the locals done keep spreading the word of DD I think the country is ready. Meanwhile find out who consistently voted out in the parties running then its BP, UKIP or Independent who wants OUT.

Anyone panicking about lack of Brexit friendly candidates, should punch their postcode into here.

May get a pleasant surprise.
If you do lack a Brexit candidate, ask yourself if YOU could have changed that, and don't make same mistake next time.
As for splintering of the EU election vote, that isn't possible in a proportional representation election, so go with your heart. Lots of opinions being thrown around regarding UKIP and the Brexit Party but it is YOUR choice alone!
