I have come across the English democrats and there chairman robin tillbrook is taking action against our government as they have not extended the brexit date legaly so infact we have left EU on the 29th.
Any one found this?
Can I suggest as an act of unity for brexit we support them? Push for donations etc
What do you think??
P.s my name might well be known on Facebook or Twitter but this is my first time on here, be kind

Thanks, Tony.

We have discussed cooperation with Robin Tilbrook already. We have a good relationship with him, but in terms of formal cooperation a bit more work is needed, as their initial proposal would have involved our party assenting to an English Parliament - something redundant and a waste of money with Direct Democracy.

Tony,
Have a look at:      http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2018/16/section/20/enacted
Specifically Sect 20(1) and scroll down to "exit day".
It refers to sub sect 20(4) that includes a change of date clause.

I know about sect 20( 1) but what makes his case worth pursuing is the Gina miller case that set president on casesclike these, as has to be passed by parliament and the extension was not nor has Mrs may asked about the legality

It's worth a go and I sent £25 over to help..

My point is not to join as one party but to support his actions based on brexit being a common interest, I personally think we should work with any one to secure brexit, clearly DVParty aims are further on from brexit with direct democracy..
We must all work together for brexit

Some comments on a well known social media site are saying that this proposal by the English Democrats on the UK's exit day is an April fools hoax.. Has anyone seen anything about it in any of the printed media ? It's certainly not on any TV news I've watched on April 1st or today.

It's not an April fools hoax at all.
Remember how Gina miller brought brexit to a halt on legal processes?

While I do not support DVParty joining forces I will support any party who can halt this brexit stitch up.
I see no harm in standing side by side with any group/ party to fight dishonesty employed in our government's brexit deals.
The only possative effect is to show unity and a chance our name gets in the media.

DVPARTY after all is more for the long game and replacing government with a D D party

Peter it's not in the media as there is a fear the party would gain huge support..

This story has made the Daily Mail today:-

I get the feeling that the Establishment will kick this into the long grass though, irrespective of how accurate the claim may be. If the story gains any traction at all expect some ridicule or dirt in the press about the English Democrats and their leader.

I agree we should support Robin and stand with him during this court case, just as we stand with other parties in the Brexit Alliance. In referance to the severe lack of media coverage on this court case, again it goes to show that the mainstrem media are in the pockets of the two main poltical parties.

Anto, just one more hurdle we have to overcome in the struggle to be recognised.

Firstly, let me say I am a strong DVP supporter. However, I do think we need some guidance on voting both in a local by election and in a GE. As I see it we should be contesting as many seats as possible in by elections and always vote for those candidates, if no DVP then and independent but never LibLabCon. Right. Got that. Now then, what about in a GE. Do we have the numbers to actually take out the major parties? Probably not. So, the big question is..... ADVICE PLEASE......
do we give our vote to the BrExit Party. ...to an independent. ..... or to UKIP?  I’m aware that Gerard Batten is against any alliance that would detract from his plans and big up their own position. Huh! What is the advice? To my mind BrExit must be achieved first or it will all be irrelevant.

Clearly if there is dvp standing we should all vote for them.
I think this goes without saying but if not find out who backs leaving and vote for them, ukip brexit party etc .in areas they are not standing we would be there choice.
I feel if we all did this DVParty and others, it would be the best time to gain a foot hold for all of us for now
Once we get brexit done we are looking at our selves.

To my mind I am of the belief that we left the EU on March 29 by default.  The resultant court case has yet to be resolved but, by way of protest, I was going to boycott the EU elections on the 23rd.  I since remembered that the EU elections in the UK are run on a form of proportional representation (the D'hondt system).  As I want the Brexit Party to absolutely annihilate the traditional Lib/Lab/Con establishment, I will vote for that party on the 23rd and I urge everyone who truly wants the UK out of the EU to do the same.
Just because you are offended, doesn't mean you are right.

Haven’t heard of a candidate for Peterborough?
Do we vote DVP AFTER we have succeeded in getting out of EU as each election still needs numbers to get us out?
Advice please.

we ARE small. It is unlikely we had someone willing and able. What is more, in by-elections the smaller parties are squeezed by the larger ones, emotional blackmail, and the like. We’d have been an also ran, and opened ourselves to mockery by losing to the Loony Party, or some other such nonsense group. I know, I stood in one for a small but real party.

in a GE we would have more chance, in some seats, of making a visible difference, getting noticed, and building our credibility.

Robin Tilbrook's action against the Government regarding the official Brexit day of March 29th has been going for some time. Needless to say the mainstream media ,  have blocked their reporting of the forthcoming high court case. ( apart from one report in the Daily Express,). It has been all over Face Book and Unity News Network's David Clews has interviewed Mr Tilbrook. I have donated to the fund for this court action and I hope many of you in the DVP will think about doing the same. As things stand, if you are a Brexit supporter it's recommended by our leader that we vote for The Brexit Party. Mr Tilbrook is a Brexit supporter, but his Parties aim is to break up the Union which I don't agree with at present, so I wouldn't vote for him. But I do support him with the court case.
